FISHING METHOD:  With a dry floating line in spring when chironomids are surfacing

 Hook  Dry - size 10-20
 Thread  8/0 Black
 Body  Peacock Herl
 Hackle  Grizzly Hackle, Reverse Palmered

TYING NOTES:

  1. 1.First pinch your barb, lay down a thread base to the bend of the hook

  2. 2.Tie in 3 to 5 of peacock hurl near bend of hook and wrap to eye

  3. 3.Tied in hackle behind the eye and wrapped back to the bend of the hook, tie in

  4. 4.The thread is wound forward through the hackle to eye and tie off

TIPS: Use dry fly floatant
