FISHING METHOD:
Where chironomids are hatching this pattern may be used any place from the
bottom to close to the surface. A strike indicator makes for easy
judgement of production zone and depth control. Uneven surface
(ripples/waves) enhances fish production. |

TYING NOTES: |

Pinch your barb down on the hook. |
| 2. |
Slide bead onto hook, small opening towards the eye of the hook. |
| 3. |
Attach thread behind the eye, tie a tuft of sparkle yarn and tie off. |
| 4. |
Slide bead as far forward as possible, re attach thread tie in rib material along the near side of the hook and secure it all the way down the shank of the hook, return the thread so it hangs behind the bead. |

Take two strands of silver flashabou and double it around the thread and tie it into position directly behind the bead, wrap the silver flashabou down the rib and back to the bead tie off the flashabou and trim the access. |

Counter wind the rib and tie off and trim the excess. |
| 7. |
Select two strands of peacock herl and tie behind the bead (max 3 wraps) , trim the gills so they are the same length as the bead head. |

Whip finish behind the bead head and cement the head of fly. Apply a thin coat of clear nail polish to reinforce the body. |
