 Thread 6/0 or 8/0 black
 Tail Red Hackle Fibers
 Body Bright Green Floss
 Wing Mallard Flank  Feather
 Beard Grizzly  Hackle Fibers
 Ribbing Flat Silver Tinsel #18
 Head Black thread


TYING NOTES:

  1. First pinch your barb, then lay a thread base down. 

  2. Tie in a Red Hackle Fibers

  3. Tie in tinsel

  4. Tie in green floss and wrap to hook eye.

  5. Wrap tinsel to hook eye

  6. Secure and trim the green floss

  7. Tie in and beard

  8. Tie in wing

  9. Build a small thread head and whip finish the fly.

Attractor flies do not imitate any one type of insect. Their bright colors trigger a response, and in off color water, they can be more easily seen. The Grizzly King is a very attractive fly, easy to tie and fun to fish
