FISHING METHOD :Floating line with 10 -16 Ft leader. Use the count down method to get the fly just off the bottom. Use a slow to medium retrieve (4 - 8 seconds for each hand twist) with a several quick 2 - 3 inch pulls every 15 - 30 seconds. Use the same retrieve for sinking lines. Weight the fly, and try trolling with it. Good luck

| Tail | Grizzly hackle fibres |
| Ribbing | Fine silver wire (5 - 7 wraps) |
| Body | Peacock #46 Scintilla dubbing |
| Beard | Grizzly hackle fibres |
| Thorax | Peacock herl (2 strands) |
TYING NOTES:
First pinch your barb, then lay a thread base down.
Tie in the grizzly fibres for the tail.
Tie in the ribbing and add the weight to body at this time. Secure the weight with tying thread.
Dub the body sparsely up 2/3 of the hook shank.
Reverse wrap the rib up the body (5 - 7 wraps) with fine silver wire.
Tie in the grizzly beard and the herl for the thorax.
Build the thorax with 4 - 5 wraps of herl.
Tie off the herl. Remember to leave enough room for a small thread head.
Whip finish and cement the head of the fly.
