1. Wrap black 6/0 to form a base

2. Tie in black cock hackle fibers for the tail

3. Add lead wire 3/4 along the hook shank for weight

4. Tie 3 inches of black chenille

5. Wrap the chenille within 1/4 inch of the eye, tie off and trim

6. In the front of the body tie in a second 2 inch length of black chenille

7. In front of the body tie in 2 inches of lime green chenille

8. In front of the body tie in a black cock hackle

9. Wrap the chenille to the eye, tie off and trim

10. Wrap the hackle about three wraps to the eye, tie off and trim

11. Pull the black chenille over the back of the thorax and secure at the eye

12. Build up a head and whip finish the fly
