TYING NOTES:

Pinch down the barb. Lay thread base down on the shank. Tie in a small bunch of fibres for the tail. Tie in the rib material. Tie in a medium bunch of fibres for the body. Wrap the body material forward leaving room for the hackle and head, trim. Run the rib material forward 4 turns. Tie in the Rump feather, wind 2 to 3 turns, trim. Pull the hackle fibres back and form a neat tapered head, whip finish and glue.
