Wing is white deer hair, hackle is a brown dry hackle |

1. Pinch barb, and tie on thread 2. Put about 10 fibers of golden pheasant tail 3. Attach 3 strands of herl and wrap part way up shank, 4. Then attach the red floss and do a small section of floss 5. Then attach more herl and go ¾ of the way up the shank (3/4 is the total body length) 6. Put on about 10 strands of white deer hair, or calf 7. Then put on the brown hackle. |
